# Mchenga

***Mchenga*** is a small [genus](/source/Genus) of [haplochromine](/source/Haplochromine) [cichlids](/source/Cichlid) [endemic](/source/Endemism) to [Lake Malawi](/source/Lake_Malawi) in [East Africa](/source/East_Africa). They are part of a group known as [utaka](/source/Utaka).
