**Maxwell Bay** is a waterway in the [Qikiqtaaluk Region](/source/Qikiqtaaluk_Region), [Nunavut](/source/Nunavut), Canada. It lies off the southern coast of [Devon Island](/source/Devon_Island) in the eastern high [Arctic](/source/Arctic). Like [Croker Bay](/source/Croker_Bay) to the east, it is an arm of [Lancaster Sound](/source/Lancaster_Sound) and [Barrow Strait](/source/Barrow_Strait).

Maxwell Bay was named by [William Edward Parry](/source/William_Edward_Parry) in honour of Sir [Murray Maxwell](/source/Murray_Maxwell).[2][3]
