==Playing career==
With the [2020–21 NHL season](/source/2020-21_NHL_season) to be delayed due to the [COVID-19 pandemic](/source/COVID-19_pandemic), on 17 July 2020 Sushko opted to return to Belarus and sign with the country's highest ranked professional team, [HC Dinamo Minsk](/source/HC_Dinamo_Minsk) of the [Kontinental Hockey League](/source/Kontinental_Hockey_League) on loan from the Flyers, and play until the resumption of the North American season.<ref>{{cite web| url = https://hcdinamo.by/news/sobytiya/dostignuta-dogovoryennost-o-podpisanii-kontrakta-s-egorom-sharangovichem/ | title = An agreement was reached on signing a contract with Yegor Sharangovich | publisher = [HC Dinamo Minsk](/source/HC_Dinamo_Minsk) | date = 16 July 2020 | accessdate = 16 July 2020 | language = Russian}}</ref> In 30 contests with Minsk, Sushko added 2 goals and 5 points before returning to the Flyers organization.
