# Max Padlow

**Max Padlow** (August 15, 1912 – August 8, 1971[1]) was a [professional](/source/Professional_sports) [American football](/source/American_football) [end](/source/End_(American_football)) for the [Philadelphia Eagles](/source/Philadelphia_Eagles) (1935–1936) in the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League)[2] and the [Cleveland Rams](/source/Cleveland_Rams) (1936) and the [Cincinnati Bengals](/source/Cincinnati_Bengals_(AFL)) (1937) of the [second American Football League](/source/American_Football_League_(1936)). He played [college football](/source/College_football) for [Ohio State University](/source/Ohio_State_University).[3] He was Jewish.[4]
