'''Max Langer''' (born 11 July 1897 in [Spitzkunnersdorf](/source/Spitzkunnersdorf) ([Krs.](/source/Districts_of_Prussia) [Zittau](/source/Zittau)); died 3 May 1985 in [Niederoderwitz](/source/Niederoderwitz), was a German painter. From 1917 to 1921 he studied with {{ill|Paul Rößler|de|}} in the [Kunstgewerbeakademie Dresden](/source/Dresden_Academy_of_Fine_Arts). After a few years of wandering through Bavaria and Munich he returned to Niederoderwitz.
