# Mauritz Eriksson

**Axel Mauritz Eriksson** (18 December 1888 – 14 February 1947) was a [Swedish](/source/Sweden) [sport shooter](/source/Shooting_sports) who competed in the [1912 Summer Olympics](/source/1912_Summer_Olympics), in the [1920 Summer Olympics](/source/1920_Summer_Olympics), and in the [1924 Summer Olympics](/source/1924_Summer_Olympics).[1]

In 1912, he won the gold medal as a member of the Swedish team in the team free rifle event and the bronze medal in the team military rifle competition.[2]

In the [1912 Summer Olympics](/source/1912_Summer_Olympics), he also participated in the following events:
