'''Maud Debien''' (born 29 May 1938 in [Quebec City](/source/Quebec_City), [Quebec](/source/Quebec)) is a retired Canadian politician who served as a member of the [House of Commons of Canada](/source/House_of_Commons_of_Canada) from 1993 to 2000. Her career has been in [education](/source/education).

She was elected in the [Laval East](/source/Laval_East) [electoral district](/source/electoral_district) under the [Bloc Québécois](/source/Bloc_Qu%C3%A9b%C3%A9cois) party in the [1993](/source/1993_Canadian_federal_election) and [1997 federal elections](/source/1997_Canadian_federal_election), thus serving in the [35th](/source/35th_Canadian_Parliament) and [36th Canadian Parliament](/source/36th_Canadian_Parliament)s. Debien left Canadian politics in 2000 as she did not seek a third term in that year's federal election.
