**Matthew Bundy** is an American politician who served in the [Idaho House of Representatives](/source/Idaho_House_of_Representatives) from Idaho's 8th district. He was elected to the chamber after incumbent [Republican](/source/Republican_Party_(United_States)) [Christy Zito](/source/Christy_Zito) decided to run for a seat in the [Idaho Senate](/source/Idaho_Senate) instead of re–election.[1] He defeated [Democratic](/source/Democratic_Party_(United_States)) candidate Benjamin Lee in the general election, winning 79.2% to 20.8% in the general election.[2]
