Maternien, was the brother of [St Materne](/source/St_Materne) the [Bishop of Milan](/source/Bishop_of_Milan)<ref>[http://nominis.cef.fr/contenus/saint/11024/Saint-Materne.html Saint Materne].</ref>(Feast day on 18 July)  and was [Bishop](/source/Bishop) of [Reims](/source/Reims) from 348 to 359[AD](/source/Anno_Domini). He died July 7, 368.
