The **Mashavera** ([Georgian](/source/Georgian_language): მაშავერა) is a river of southern [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(country)). It is 66 km (41 mi) long, and has a 1,390 km2 (540 sq mi) [drainage basin](/source/Drainage_basin).[1] It is a right tributary of the [Khrami](/source/Khrami), which in turn is a tributary of the [Kura](/source/Kura_(South_Caucasus_river)). It flows through the towns of [Dmanisi](/source/Dmanisi) and [Bolnisi](/source/Bolnisi).
