**Marungi** is a locality in northern [Victoria](/source/Victoria_(Australia)). The locality is shared between the [local government areas](/source/Local_government_areas_of_Victoria) of the [Shire of Moira](/source/Shire_of_Moira) and [City of Greater Shepparton](/source/City_of_Greater_Shepparton).

The post office opened on 20 October 1879 and was closed on 17 May 1971.[3]
