**Marley Pearce** (born 3 August 2003) is an Australia professional [rugby union](/source/Rugby_union) player who plays as a [prop](/source/Prop_(rugby_union)) for [Super Rugby](/source/Super_Rugby) club [Western Force](/source/Western_Force).[1]

## Early life

Pearce was born on 3 August 2003 in [Perth](/source/Perth), [Western Australia](/source/Western_Australia) to parents Michael and Jodal Pearce. He was actively involved in [rugby union](/source/Rugby_union) while growing up and attended [Aranmore Catholic College](/source/Aranmore_Catholic_College).[2]

## Club career

Pearce started his professional career with the [Western Force](/source/Western_Force), making his [Super Rugby](/source/Super_Rugby) debut against the [Blues](/source/Blues_(Super_Rugby)) during the [2023 season](/source/2023_Super_Rugby_Pacific_season) at [Eden Park](/source/Eden_Park) in [Auckland](/source/Auckland).[3] In August 2023, he signed a contract extension with the team, securing his place until the [2025 season](/source/2025_Super_Rugby_Pacific_season).[4]

## International career

Pearce was chosen to represent [Australia](/source/Australia_national_under-20_rugby_union_team) at the [2023 World Rugby Under 20 Championship](/source/2023_World_Rugby_Under_20_Championship), making his first international appearance against [Fiji](/source/Fiji_national_under-20_rugby_union_team).[5]

## Personal life

Pearce is of [Māori](/source/M%C4%81ori_people) and [First Nations](/source/Indigenous_Australians) heritage.[6]
