Mark is also the founder and managing partner of Mitten a firm that creates content that inspires while generating social impact.

Before producing films, he was the Chief Brand Officer for the [Chicago bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics](/source/Chicago_bid_for_the_2016_Summer_Olympics). He began his career working at [J. Walter Thompson](/source/J._Walter_Thompson) advertising before founding Envision, a brand strategy company. He and his partners sold it to [McKinsey & Company](/source/McKinsey_%26_Company), their first acquisition in 10 years, where he became a direct elect partner and helped lead their brand strategy and marketing practices.
