Isip played college basketball for the [FEU Tamaraws](/source/FEU_Tamaraws), where he is currently an assistant coach. He was then drafted sixth overall by the [Sta. Lucia Realtors](/source/Sta._Lucia_Realtors) in the [2006 PBA draft](/source/2006_PBA_draft) and played ten seasons in the [Philippine Basketball Association](/source/Philippine_Basketball_Association) (PBA).
Isip only played limited minutes in his first few years until he played for the [Barako Bull Energy Boosters](/source/Barako_Bull_Energy_Boosters_(2000%E2%80%9311)) during most of the [2010–11 PBA Philippine Cup](/source/2010%E2%80%9311_PBA_Philippine_Cup) where he had a number of double-double performances.
