# Mark Amos

**Mark Andrew Amos** (born 5 August 1951) is a former [Australian rules footballer](/source/Australian_rules_football) who played for and [Fitzroy](/source/Fitzroy_Football_Club) in the [Victorian Football League](/source/Australian_Football_League) (VFL).[1][2]

## Career

Amos was recruited to Carlton from [Diamond Valley Football League](/source/Northern_Football_League) (DVFL) club [Montmorency](/source/Montmorency_Football_Club) in 1970. He played six games for the Blues in [1970](/source/1970_VFL_season) and [1971](/source/1971_VFL_season).[3]

He was cleared to Fitzroy in [1972](/source/1972_VFL_season), where he played one game, against Carlton, kicking a goal.
