Pangalou competed for Greece in the [rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around competition at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta](/source/Gymnastics_at_the_1996_Summer_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Women's_rhythmic_individual_all-around). There, she was 8th in the qualification round and advanced to the semifinal.
