Seibert is the daughter of Debbie ([née](/source/n%C3%A9e) Sykes) and Willis Seibert. She has one sister. Seibert was nominated for a [Drama Desk Award](/source/Drama_Desk_Award) in 2014 for playing the title character of Tamar in the Off-Broadway musical ''Tamar of the River'' by Marisa Michelson and Joshua H.
