**Mardyck** ([Dutch](/source/Dutch_language): *Mardijk*, [West Flemish](/source/West_Flemish_language): *Mardyk*) is a former [commune](/source/Communes_of_France) in the [Nord](/source/Nord_(French_department)) [department](/source/Departments_of_France) in northern France. It is an [associated commune](/source/Associated_communes_of_France) with [Dunkirk](/source/Dunkirk) since it joined the latter in January 1980.[2][3]
