She animated her own projects and for several companies, and she taught courses at both [San Francisco State University](/source/San_Francisco_State_University) and the [California College of Arts](/source/California_College_of_Arts) before she emigrated to [Canada](/source/Canada). Her own film *Paradisia* won awards at many international festivals.[1]

In 1990, Page joined the [National Film Board of Canada](/source/National_Film_Board_of_Canada), where she produced a number of animated films. Most notably, she co-produced the [Academy Award](/source/Academy_Award)-winning films *[Ryan](/source/Ryan_(film))* (2004) and *[The Danish Poet](/source/The_Danish_Poet)* (2006).[2] She also produced the Academy Award-nominated *[Madame Tutli-Putli](/source/Madame_Tutli-Putli)* (which won the Le Grand Prix Canal + du meilleur court-métrage at [2007 Cannes Film Festival](/source/2007_Cannes_Film_Festival) and co-produced *[Me and My Moulton](/source/Me_and_My_Moulton)* (2014) and *[My Grandmother Ironed the King's Shirts](/source/My_Grandmother_Ironed_the_King's_Shirts)* (1999), both nominated for the [Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film](/source/Academy_Award_for_Best_Animated_Short_Film). During her time at the National Film Board, she has worked on films that have earned over 250 international awards.[1]

Through films like *Ryan*, Page has encouraged the innovative use of computer technology, as well as [stereoscopic](/source/Stereoscopic) films like Munro Ferguson's *[Falling in Love Again](/source/Falling_in_Love_Again_(2003_film))* and *June*.[1]

After working at the National Film Board for 24 years, she retired in March 2014.[2] In November 2015, Page received the inaugural Prix René-Jodoin, recognizing exceptional work in Canadian animation.[3]

She is married to film composer [Normand Roger](/source/Normand_Roger), whom she met while working with him on *Paradisia*.[4]
