# Marcus Romer

**Marcus Romer** is a British actor, director and screenwriter.

Romer wrote and directed the 2014 feature film [The Knife That Killed Me](/source/The_Knife_That_Killed_Me_(film)). He was the artistic director of [Pilot Theatre](/source/Pilot_Theatre) in [York](/source/York), [England](/source/England) from [1993 - 2016](https://www.thestage.co.uk/news/pilot-theatres-marcus-romer-to-leave-touring-company).

In July 2018 Romer co-directed a new production for [National Theatre Wales](/source/National_Theatre_Wales).
