==Playing career==
Davidsson began playing hockey in the local [Tyresö](/source/Tyres%C3%B6_Municipality) club [Tyresö HK](/source/Tyres%C3%B6_HK). He joined the [Djurgårdens IF](/source/Djurg%C3%A5rdens_IF_Hockey) under-16 team for the 2012–13 season to play minor hockey. Davidsson was promoted to the under-18 team for the following season, where he played the majority of the season, except for seven games in the under-16 team. He was selected to join the Stockholm South team in the national tournament for district teams, [TV-pucken](/source/TV-pucken). In eight games, he scored one goal and two points. The 2014–15 season meant another season in the under-18 team, but when the season finished, Davidsson had made his debut for the [J20](/source/J20_SuperElit) team, playing two games with the team.
