# Marcos Delgado

**Marcos Abner Delgado Ocampo** (born 17 February 1988) is a Peruvian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays for [Santos de Nasca](/source/Santos_de_Nasca) as a [centre-back](/source/Centre-back) or [defensive midfielder](/source/Defensive_midfielder).

## Career

Delgado joined Peruvian giants [Sporting Cristal](/source/Sporting_Cristal) in 2006.[1] He was promoted to the first team the following season.[citation needed]

Then later Delgado made his [Torneo Descentralizado](/source/Peruvian_Primera_Divisi%C3%B3n) league debut on 26 August 2007 in an away match against [Coronel Bolognesi](/source/Coronel_Bolognesi).[citation needed] Manager [Juan Carlos Oblitas](/source/Juan_Carlos_Oblitas) put him in the 73rd minute to help wrap up the 0–1 win for Cristal.<[citation needed] The following week he played his first match as a starter playing alongside [Rainer Torres](/source/Rainer_Torres) in the midfield in the 1–1 draw at home against [Melgar](/source/FBC_Melgar).[citation needed] He finished his [debut season](/source/2007_Torneo_Descentralizado) with 14 league appearances.

He then had a season long spell with [Coronel Bolognesi](/source/Coronel_Bolognesi), joining the [Tacna](/source/Tacna) club in January 2009.[citation needed] That season he played under the management of [Roberto Mosquera](/source/Roberto_Mosquera) for his first time.[citation needed]

He often partnered [Erick Rojas](/source/Erick_Rojas) in the midfield and made 29 league appearances for Bolognesi in the [2009 Descentralizado](/source/2009_Torneo_Descentralizado) season.[citation needed]

Delgado then joined [Colegio Nacional Iquitos](/source/Colegio_Nacional_Iquitos) in January 2010. There he scored his first league goal of his career on matchday 2 in the 3–1 home win over [Sport Boys](/source/Sport_Boys).[citation needed] He finished the [2010 season](/source/2010_Torneo_Descentralizado) with ten league appearances and one goal.[citation needed]
