# Marco Delonge

**Marco Delonge** (born 16 June 1966) is a retired [East German](/source/East_Germany) [long jumper](/source/Long_jump).

He won the silver medal at the [1985 European Junior Championships](/source/1985_European_Junior_Championships_in_Athletics).[1] He represented the sports club [SC Dynamo Berlin](/source/SC_Dynamo_Berlin), and became East German champion in 1987 and 1989.[2]

His personal best jump is 8.27 metres, achieved in June 1987 in [Potsdam](/source/Potsdam). This ranks him fifth among German long jumpers, behind [Lutz Dombrowski](/source/Lutz_Dombrowski), [Frank Paschek](/source/Frank_Paschek), [Josef Schwarz](/source/Josef_Schwarz) and [Henry Lauterbach](/source/Henry_Lauterbach).[3]
