==Biography==
Marco Columbro was born in [Viareggio](/source/Viareggio), [Tuscany](/source/Tuscany). He had a [Roman Catholic](/source/Catholic_Church) background but later became a follower of [14th Dalai Lama](/source/14th_Dalai_Lama) and [Buddhist](/source/Tibetan_Buddhism) and Oriental concepts.<ref>{{Cite web |date=2017-12-19 |title=Gesù era un alieno? He studied psychology at the [University of Florence](/source/University_of_Florence). Columbro worked as actor for numerous companies, collaborating, among the others, with [Dario Fo](/source/Dario_Fo). In 1981 he debuted for television as dubber of a puppet in [Canale 5](/source/Canale_5), [Silvio Berlusconi](/source/Silvio_Berlusconi)'s channel. Columbro subsequently hosted numerous shows in Berlusconi's channel, including {{ill|Buona Domenica|it|italic=yes}} and {{ill|Tra moglie e marito|it|Tra moglie e marito (programma televisivo)|italic=yes}}.

In 2003 he briefly worked for [RAI](/source/RAI), Italian's state television, for a show with [Lorella Cuccarini](/source/Lorella_Cuccarini). From 1993 onwards he worked mostly as actor for television series and for theatrical productions.

In the 1990s, he had a relationship with Elena Perrucchini, with whom he had a son in 1993.
