**Marci Collier Overstreet** is an American politician and president of the [Atlanta City Council](/source/Atlanta_City_Council). She previously served as councilwoman for [District 11](/source/Atlanta's_11th_City_Council_district) from 2018 to 2026.[1] She was [elected in 2025](/source/2025_Atlanta_City_Council_presidential_election) as President of the [Atlanta City Council](/source/Atlanta_City_Council), defeating activist Rohit Malhotra.[2]

Overstreet has a bachelor's degree in journalism from [Georgia State University](/source/Georgia_State_University).[3]
