**Marcella Jeanette "Marcy" Place** (born April 23, 1959) is a former [field hockey](/source/Field_hockey) player from the [United States](/source/United_States), who was a member of the national team that won the bronze medal at the [1984 Summer Olympics](/source/1984_Summer_Olympics) in [Los Angeles, California](/source/Los_Angeles%2C_California).

Four years later, when [Seoul](/source/Seoul) hosted the [Summer Games](/source/1988_Summer_Olympics), she finished in eighth position with *Team USA*. She was affiliated with the [University of California](/source/University_of_California) in [Berkeley](/source/Berkeley%2C_California).
