# Manyoni

**Manyoni** is a town in central [Tanzania](/source/Tanzania). It is the district headquarter of [Manyoni District](/source/Manyoni_District).

## Transport

Paved trunk road T3 from [Morogoro](/source/Morogoro) to the [Rwanda](/source/Rwanda) border passes through the town.[1]

The town of Manyoni has a station on the [Central Railway](/source/Central_Line_(Tanzania)) of the [Tanzanian Railways](/source/Tanzanian_Railways). The Singida line branches off from the main line in Manyoni town.

## Population

According to the 2012 national census the population of Manyoni town - which is located in [Manyoni ward](/source/Manyoni_(Tanzanian_ward)) - is 25,505.[2]
