**Mandell Maughan** is an American film and television actress. She is best known for starring as Chanel Vanderthal on the [Netflix](/source/Netflix) series *[Free Bert](/source/Free_Bert)*[1], Maggie in *[Me, Myself & I](/source/Me,_Myself_%26_I_(TV_series))* on [CBS](/source/CBS) and Lisa Casper in [*Resident Alien*](/source/Resident_Alien_(TV_series)) on [Syfy](/source/Syfy). She also played Victoria King, for four seasons, in the comedy fan favorite *[Bajillion Dollar Propertie$](/source/Bajillion_Dollar_Propertie$)*.

## Early life

Maughan, a Portuguese American, was born and raised in [Point Loma](/source/Point_Loma), a peninsula within southern California, often referred to as "Little Portugal".[2] She spent much of her youth traveling, internationally, as a member of The San Diego Children's Choir.[citation needed] In 2001, Mandell won the title of Miss Cabrillo, a community pageant where women of Portuguese decent compete to represent their heritage. Later, Maughan attended The University of Arizona and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Professional Acting from the Arizona Repertory Theatre program.[3]

## Career

Maughan began her career starring in the title role of the *[Prison Break](/source/Prison_Break)* spin-off series, *[Prison Break: Proof of Innocence](/source/Prison_Break:_Proof_of_Innocence)*. She then appeared in the cult film *[Midnight Movie](/source/Midnight_Movie_(film))* and several television shows including *[Ghost Whisperer](/source/The_Young_and_the_Restless)*, *[House of Lies](/source/House_of_Lies)*, and *[Undateable](/source/Undateable)*.

Maughan is best known for starring as Victoria King in the reality show spoof, *[Bajillion Dollar Propertie$](/source/Bajillion_Dollar_Propertie$)*. Shortly after, she played Maggie in the [CBS](/source/CBS) comedy *[Me, Myself and I](/source/Me,_Myself_%26_I_(TV_series))* with [Bobby Moynihan](/source/Bobby_Moynihan), [Jack Dylan Grazer](/source/Jack_Dylan_Grazer) and [John Laroquette](/source/John_Larroquette).[4][5] Following, Maughan starred as Lisa Casper in the [Syfy](/source/Syfy) thriller, *[Resident Alien](/source/Resident_Alien_(TV_series))* based on the *[comic book](/source/Resident_Alien_(comics))* of the same name.[6] Throughout this time, she made appearances in the [Netflix](/source/Netflix) film *[Between Two Ferns](/source/Between_Two_Ferns:_The_Movie)* and the [Netflix](/source/Netflix) series *[Grace and Frankie](/source/Grace_and_Frankie)*.
