The [legs](/source/arthropod_leg) can be very long in some species, leading to the name "[spider crab](/source/spider_crab)". The [exoskeleton](/source/exoskeleton) is covered with bristles to which the crab attaches [alga](/source/alga)e and other items to act as [camouflage](/source/camouflage).
