Many countries have had dedicated railway services for the delivery of postal [mail](/source/mail).

Examples include:

* In Australia, the [Travelling post office, Queensland](/source/Travelling_post_office%2C_Queensland)

* In Austria, the {{Interlanguage link multi|Bahnpost (Austria)|de|3=Bahnpost (Österreich)}} (1850–2004)
