# Maik Bullmann

**Maik Bullmann** (also known as **Mike Bullmann**, born 25 April 1967) is a German [Greco-Roman](/source/Greco-Roman_wrestling) wrestler. He is an Olympic champion and three-time World Champion.

## Olympics

Bullmann competed at the [1992 Summer Olympics](/source/1992_Summer_Olympics) in [Barcelona](/source/Barcelona) where he received a gold medal in [Greco-Roman wrestling](/source/Greco-Roman_wrestling), the *light heavyweight* class.[1]

He received a bronze medal at the [1996 Summer Olympics](/source/1996_Summer_Olympics) in [Atlanta](/source/Atlanta).

## World championships

Bullmann won a gold medal at the [1989 World Wrestling Championships](/source/1989_World_Wrestling_Championships), and again [in 1990](/source/1990_World_Wrestling_Championships) and [in 1991](/source/1991_World_Wrestling_Championships).

## Awards

He was awarded the [Bambi prize](/source/Bambi_(prize)) in 1992.
