The **Maguse River** is located in the [Kivalliq Region](/source/Kivalliq_Region) of [northern Canada](/source/Northern_Canada)'s territory of [Nunavut](/source/Nunavut). It originates at [Maguse Lake](/source/Maguse_Lake) and flows 56 km (35 mi) eastward to northwestern [Hudson Bay](/source/Hudson_Bay). At one time, there was a [trading post](/source/Trading_post) at the mouth of the river.[1]
