At the [2012 World Junior Curling Championships](/source/2012_World_Junior_Curling_Championships), Nedregotten played [third](/source/Third_(curling)) for the Norwegian team, skipped by [Markus Snøve Høiberg](/source/Markus_Sn%C3%B8ve_H%C3%B8iberg). ### Mixed doubles

Nedregotten would find much of his success in [mixed doubles](/source/Doubles_curling) curling. In mixed doubles, Nedregotten and partner [Kristin Moen Skaslien](/source/Kristin_Moen_Skaslien) have represented Norway in the [2013](/source/2013_World_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship), [2014](/source/2014_World_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship), [2015](/source/2015_World_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship), [2016](/source/2016_World_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship), [2017](/source/2017_World_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship) and [2019 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championships](/source/2019_World_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship). The pair have finished 4th, 5th, 3rd, 9th, 5th and 9th respectively. They represented Norway in the mixed doubles tournament at the [2018 Winter Olympics](/source/Curling_at_the_2018_Winter_Olympics_-_Mixed_doubles_tournament). They lost the bronze medal game against the [Olympic Athletes from Russia](/source/Olympic_Athletes_from_Russia_at_the_2018_Winter_Olympics), but due to a positive testing of meldonium from [Alexander Krushelnitskiy](/source/Alexander_Krushelnitskiy), their bronze medals were stripped and given to Nedregotten and Skaslien.[3]

Nedregotten and Skaslien won the [second leg of the 2018–19 Curling World Cup](/source/2018%E2%80%9319_Curling_World_Cup_%E2%80%93_Second_Leg), defeating Switzerland's [Jenny Perret](/source/Jenny_Perret) and [Martin Rios](/source/Martin_Rios_(curler)) in the final. The pair also won the [Grand Final of the Curling World Cup](/source/2018%E2%80%9319_Curling_World_Cup_%E2%80%93_Grand_Final), defeating Canada's [Laura Walker](/source/Laura_Walker_(curler)) and [Kirk Muyres](/source/Kirk_Muyres) in the final.

Skaslien and Nedregotten would again find success at the [2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship](/source/2021_World_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship), finishing in second place, losing to Scotland's [Jennifer Dodds](/source/Jennifer_Dodds) and [Bruce Mouat](/source/Bruce_Mouat) 9–7 in the final. This result would directly qualify them for the [2022 Winter Olympics](/source/Curling_at_the_2022_Winter_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Mixed_doubles_tournament). At the Olympics, Skaslien and Nedregotten would improve on their performance at the 2018 Olympics, this time winning silver, losing 8–5 to Italy's [Stefani Constantini](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Stefani_Constantini&action=edit&redlink=1) and [Amos Mosaner](/source/Amos_Mosaner) in the final. Skaslien and Nedregotten would again medal at the [2024 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship](/source/2024_World_Mixed_Doubles_Curling_Championship), winning a bronze medal. This result would also qualify them to represent Norway for the third consecutive Olympics at the [2026 Winter Olympics](/source/Curling_at_the_2026_Winter_Olympics_%E2%80%93_Mixed_doubles_tournament).

### Mixed curling

Nedregotten has also represented Norway at the [European Mixed Curling Championship](/source/European_Mixed_Curling_Championship), playing second for Walstad in both events. At the [2012 European Mixed Curling Championship](/source/2012_European_Mixed_Curling_Championship), the team finished 5th, and at the [2014 European Mixed Curling Championship](/source/2014_European_Mixed_Curling_Championship), the team brought back a silver medal for Norway.

### Men's

Nedregotten won the Norwegian men's championship in 2016 with Høiberg skipping, though the team was not chosen to represent Norway at the World Championships. Walstad took over as skip of the team in 2016. Following a bronze medal performance at the [2017 Winter Universiade](/source/2017_Winter_Universiade), the team qualified for the [2017 World Men's Curling Championship](/source/2017_World_Men's_Curling_Championship), where they finished 8th. The team also qualified for the [2018 World Men's Curling Championship](/source/2018_World_Men's_Curling_Championship), finishing in 5th place.
