'''MachoPsycho''' is a Swedish songwriting team consisting of Niklas "Nikey" Olovson and [Robin Lynch](/source/Robin_Lynch). Nikey was born in [Stenungsund](/source/Stenungsund), Sweden in 1966 and Robin was born in [Sandnessjøen](/source/Sandnessj%C3%B8en), Norway also in 1966. They are among Sweden's most successful songwriters and producers. MachoPsycho are multi-platinum music producers based in Gothenburg, Sweden who exploded into mainstream music when they co-wrote and co-produced [Pink](/source/Pink_(singer))'s 2007 single ''[Stupid Girls](/source/Stupid_Girls)''.  It was a Top 10 across the globe and received numerous awards including a US Grammy nomination.  Soon after, they started picking up traction writing and recording with [Backstreet Boys](/source/Backstreet_Boys), [Teddy Geiger](/source/Teddy_Geiger), [Dirtie Blonde](/source/Dirtie_Blonde) and [Natasha Bedingfield](/source/Natasha_Bedingfield).

In 2008, the duo co-wrote and produced 9 songs for [Ilse DeLange](/source/Ilse_DeLange)'s platinum album, ''[Incredible](/source/Incredible_(Ilse_DeLange_album)).''  They also worked on [Pink](/source/Pink_(singer))'s 2009 album ''[Funhouse](/source/Funhouse_(Pink_album))'' adding "[Bad Influence](/source/Bad_Influence_(song))" to their writer/producer resume.

As more and more artists began looking for that signature MachoPsycho touch, 2009 included cuts with [RBD](/source/RBD), [Stereo](/source/Stereo_(Ducth_band)), [Elske De Wall](/source/Elske_De_Wall), [Queensberry](/source/Queensberry_(band)), [Name The Pet](/source/Name_The_Pet), [Sunrise Avenue](/source/Sunrise_Avenue), and a co-production with [Justin Timberlake](/source/Justin_Timberlake) on [Esmée Denters](/source/Esm%C3%A9e_Denters)' album ''[Outta Here](/source/Outta_Here_(album)).''

They are currently working with [Universal Australia](/source/Universal_Music_Group) artist, [Vanessa Amorosi](/source/Vanessa_Amorosi), producing and co-writing her album ''[Hazardous](/source/Hazardous_(album))'' released 6 November 2009.

MachoPsycho continue to make hits at [Fishhead Music Studios](/source/Fishhead_Music_Studios) in [Gothenburg](/source/Gothenburg), expanding their US, European and UK roster.

MachoPsycho are famous in the Eurovision Song Contest for the 2013 Norwegian entry they composed for [Margaret Berger](/source/Margaret_Berger) called [I Feed You My Love](/source/I_Feed_You_My_Love), which took the 4th place.
