==Sealink==
''Bari'' started her career as the ''St Anselm'', order by and for [Sealink](/source/Sealink) services in the [English Channel](/source/English_Channel).<ref name="holyhead"/> She was launched at the [Harland & Wolff](/source/Harland_%26_Wolff) shipyard in [Belfast](/source/Belfast)<ref name="holyhead"/> on 5 December 1979 and completed her maiden voyage on 27 October 1980.<ref name="holyhead"/>

After two years in service, on 31 December 1982,<ref name="holyhead"/> the ''St Anselm'' returned to [Belfast](/source/Belfast) for a £750,000 extension to her aft decks.<ref name="holyhead"/> This extension provided an enlarged duty-free shopping area and additional accommodation, increasing her tonnage by {{GT|402}} to {{GT|7,405}} and her passenger capacity to 1,400.<ref name="holyhead"/> On 28 March 1983 during her trip back to [Dover](/source/Dover) through the [Irish Sea](/source/Irish_Sea), the ''St Anselm'' was temporarily brought into service on the [Fishguard](/source/Fishguard)-[Rosslare](/source/Rosslare_Harbour) route following the failure of {{MS|Stena Normandica||2}}{{'}}s engines.<ref name="holyhead"/>

In 1990, the ''St Anselm'' was displaced from the [Dover](/source/Dover)-[Calais](/source/Calais) route by [Sealink](/source/Sealink){{'}}s acquisition of the [''Fantasia''](/source/MS_Stena_Fantasia), the ''St Anselm'' instead took up a service operating between [Folkestone](/source/Folkestone) and [Boulogne](/source/Boulogne).<ref name="holyhead"/> Not long after this transition, Sealink was acquired by [Stena Line](/source/Stena_Line), in 1991 the ''St Anselm'' was transferred to [Holyhead](/source/Holyhead),<ref name="holyhead"/> being renamed the ''Stena Cambria'' as a refit relief during February and March,<ref name="holyhead"/> briefly returning to Dover before resuming service in the [Irish Sea](/source/Irish_Sea) in July that same year.<ref name="holyhead"/>

==Stena Line==
In July 1995, [SNAT](/source/Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9_Nouvelle_d'Armement_Transmanche) announced they would be terminating the pooling agreement that had been in place with Stena Sealink Line, which as a result, dropped the "Sealink" name, becoming just Stena Line. As a result of the loss of the two French vessels, Stena Line transferred the ''Stena Cambria'' and the ''Stena Empereur'' back to the Dover-Calais route for the 1996 season.<ref name="hhv2">{{cite web|url=http://www.hhvferry.com/stan2.html|title=MS ''Stena Cambria'' Part Two|publisher=HHVFerry.com|accessdate=28 June 2010}}</ref> In March 1997 she provided refit relief in [Stranraer](/source/Stranraer) and on 3 May 1997 became the last conventional ferry to sail out of Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead having provided overhaul relief for the {{HSC|Stena Explorer||2}}.<ref name="holyhead"/> In March 1998 she transferred to the [Newhaven](/source/Newhaven%2C_East_Sussex)-[Dieppe](/source/Dieppe%2C_Seine-Maritime) route under the newly formed [P&O Stena Line](/source/P%26O_Stena_Line), staying there until the routes withdrawal in January 1999.<ref name="hhv2"/>

==Post P&O Stena Line==
Following the routes withdrawal in January 1999, the ''Stena Cambria'' was laid up in Zeebrugge awaiting sale,<ref name="hhv2"/> eventually being purchased by [UMAFISA](/source/UMAFISA), entering service for them between [Barcelona](/source/Barcelona) and [Ibiza](/source/Ibiza) that November<ref name="hhv2"/> as the ''Isla de Botafoc''. In August 2003, [UMAFISA](/source/UMAFISA) and the ''Isla de Botafoc'' were acquired by rivals, [Balearia](/source/Balearia).<ref name="hhv2"/> She continued services with Balearia to Ibiza and [Menorca](/source/Menorca)<ref name="hhv2"/> until her eventual sale to [Ventouris Ferries](/source/Ventouris_Ferries) of Greece in 2010, briefly being renamed ''Winner 9'' and then to the ''Bari''.<ref name="ferrysite"/>
