'''Operation MECACAR''' (currently known as '''MECACAR New Millennium''') is a multi-national [immunization](/source/immunization) program launched in 1995 by the [World Health Organization](/source/World_Health_Organization) to coordinate [polio](/source/polio) vaccination efforts (currently it is also used to coordinated [measles](/source/measles) and [rubella](/source/rubella) vaccination efforts).
