It is part of the [MACCRAY school district](/source/Maynard-Clara_City-Raymond_Independent_School_District), a consolidation between [Maynard](/source/Maynard%2C_Minnesota), [Clara City](/source/Clara_City%2C_Minnesota), and [Raymond](/source/Raymond%2C_Minnesota) to create one unified [school district](/source/school_district).

MACCRAY High School was the first school in Minnesota to go to a  four-day school week.  They started the four-day week at the beginning  of the 2008{{ndash}}09 school year with Mondays off. Their Mascot is the Wolverines.
