'''Lyle Randolph "Al" Bigbee''' (August 22, 1893 – August 5, 1942) was an American [outfielder](/source/outfielder) and [pitcher](/source/pitcher) for the [Philadelphia Athletics](/source/Philadelphia_Athletics) and [Pittsburgh Pirates](/source/Pittsburgh_Pirates) and [end](/source/End_(gridiron_football)) for the [Milwaukee Badgers](/source/Milwaukee_Badgers) in 1922.

Bigbee's brother [Carson](/source/Carson_Bigbee) spent eleven seasons with the Pirates as an [outfielder](/source/outfielder) and [second baseman](/source/second_baseman). They were teammates on the 1921 Pirates. Lyle, Carson and their brother Morris were all standout athletes at the [University of Oregon](/source/University_of_Oregon).<ref name=Lyle/>
