**Luzzara** ([Guastallese](/source/Emilian_language#Dialects): *Lüsèra*) is a *[comune](/source/Comune)* in the [province of Reggio Emilia](/source/Province_of_Reggio_Emilia), in [Emilia-Romagna](/source/Emilia-Romagna), [Italy](/source/Italy). It is located at the northern end of the province, on the right bank of the river [Po](/source/Po_River).

Luzzara is the birthplace of the composer [Maurizio Cazzati](/source/Maurizio_Cazzati) and film director and writer [Cesare Zavattini](/source/Cesare_Zavattini). It is also the place where the [Battle of Luzzara](/source/Battle_of_Luzzara) in the [Spanish War of Succession](/source/Spanish_War_of_Succession) was fought.
