The **Luohu Port** ([Chinese](/source/Simplified_Chinese_characters): 罗湖口岸; [pinyin](/source/Pinyin): **Luóhú Kǒu'àn**) is a [port of entry](/source/Port_of_entry)/[border crossing](/source/Border_crossing) between [mainland China](/source/Mainland_China) and Hong Kong, located in [Luohu District](/source/Luohu_District) of [Shenzhen](/source/Shenzhen) and [Lo Wu](/source/Lo_Wu), [New Territories](/source/New_Territories) of Hong Kong. It sits within the [Frontier Closed Area](/source/Frontier_Closed_Area). Statistics show that the port is the [third busiest in the world](/source/Border_checkpoint#Land).[1] The port of entry is operated by the Bureau of Exit and Entry Administration of the [Ministry of Public Security](/source/Ministry_of_Public_Security_of_the_People's_Republic_of_China), and the [General Administration of Customs](/source/General_Administration_of_Customs). In 2015, 83.2 million people passed through Lo Wu Control Point, making it the busiest control point in Hong Kong.[2]

It is served by [Shenzhen railway station](/source/Shenzhen_railway_station) of the [Guangshen Railway](/source/Guangzhou%E2%80%93Shenzhen_Railway) (formerly the Canton-Kowloon Railway Chinese Section), and [Luohu station](/source/Luohu_station) of the [Shenzhen Metro](/source/Shenzhen_Metro), whereas its counterpart in Hong Kong is interconnected with [Lo Wu station](/source/Lo_Wu_station) on the [East Rail line](/source/East_Rail_line), formerly the [Kowloon-Canton Railway British Section](/source/Kowloon%E2%80%93Canton_Railway#History).
