==History==
In 1965, the old [Opløyfjorden Chapel](/source/Opl%C3%B8yfjorden_Chapel) was taken down and moved from Østre Bogen to [Lund](/source/Lund%2C_Namsos), about {{convert|8|km}} to the west, near the mouth of the [fjord](/source/fjord). The materials (first used in the old [Kolvereid Church](/source/Kolvereid_Church) in 1658 and then reused as Opøyfjorden Chapel in 1874) were then reused again to build the new Lund Chapel to serve the extreme southern part of [Nærøy Municipality](/source/N%C3%A6r%C3%B8y_Municipality). In 2020, the municipal borders were changed and this chapel became part of [Namsos Municipality](/source/Namsos_Municipality) and the Fosnes parish.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Oppløyfjord (Bogen/Lund) kirkested / Oppløyfjord kirke 1 |url=http://www.kulturminnesok.no/kulturminnesok/kulturminne/?LOK_ID=85228 |access-date=2021-05-02 |publisher=[Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage](/source/Norwegian_Directorate_for_Cultural_Heritage) |language=Norwegian}}</ref><ref name="NK">{{cite web |title=Lund kapell |url=https://www.norske-kirker.net/home/trondelag/lund-kapell/ |website=Norges-Kirker.no |access-date=2021-05-02 |language=Norwegian}}</ref>
