**Ludwig Reiber** (1904–1979) was a German [art director](/source/Art_director).[1] The veteran Reiber worked on film and television [set design](/source/Set_design) from the [silent era](/source/Silent_era) to the early 1970s. He was employed by the Munich-based [Bavaria Film](/source/Bavaria_Film) at the [Emelka Studios](/source/Emelka_Studios). He worked on two [Alfred Hitchcock](/source/Alfred_Hitchcock) films during the 1920s that were shot at Emekla. Following the [Second World War](/source/Second_World_War) he was employed on several European-made [Hollywood](/source/Hollywood_(film_industry)) productions such as *[Decision Before Dawn](/source/Decision_Before_Dawn)* and *[Paths of Glory](/source/Paths_of_Glory)*.
