# Lu Qiwei

**Lu Qiwei** (born 1957) also **Lu Chi-wei** is a male former international [table tennis](/source/Table_tennis) player from China.[1]

He won a [silver medal](/source/Silver_medal) at the [1979 World Table Tennis Championships](/source/1979_World_Table_Tennis_Championships) in the Swaythling Cup (men's team event) with [Guo Yuehua](/source/Guo_Yuehua), [Huang Liang](/source/Huang_Liang_(table_tennis)), [Li Zhenshi](/source/Li_Zhenshi) and [Liang Geliang](/source/Liang_Geliang) for China.[2][3][4]

He represented China in the final of the Swaythling Cup when playing in Pyongyang on 30 April 1979, but was defeated by Hungarians [Istvan Jonyer](/source/Istvan_Jonyer) and [Tibor Klampár](/source/Tibor_Klamp%C3%A1r) in his two matches during the team's 5–1 defeat.[5]
