# Loxodiscus

***Loxodiscus coriaceus*** is a species of shrubs in the family [Sapindaceae](/source/Sapindaceae). It is [endemic](/source/Endemism) to [New Caledonia](/source/New_Caledonia) and the only species of the genus ***Loxodiscus***.[1] Its closest relatives are *[Cossinia](/source/Cossinia)*, *[Diplopeltis](/source/Diplopeltis)*, *[Dodonaea](/source/Dodonaea)* and *[Harpullia](/source/Harpullia)*.[2]
