**Lovell Hill Pools** ([grid reference](/source/Ordnance_Survey_National_Grid) [NZ596189](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?pagename=Lovell_Hill_Pools&params=54.561831_N_1.079836_W_region:GB_scale:25000)) is a 9.2 [hectare](/source/Hectare) [biological Site of Special Scientific Interest](/source/Biological_Site_of_Special_Scientific_Interest) (SSSI) in [North Yorkshire](/source/North_Yorkshire), [England](/source/England) [notified](/source/SSSI_notification) in 1999.

SSSIs are designated by [Natural England](/source/Natural_England), formally [English Nature](/source/English_Nature), which uses the [1974–1996 county system](/source/Metropolitan_and_non-metropolitan_counties_of_England). This means there is no grouping of SSSIs by [Redcar and Cleveland](/source/Redcar_and_Cleveland) unitary authority, or [North Yorkshire](/source/North_Yorkshire) which is the relevant [ceremonial county](/source/Ceremonial_counties_of_England).
