***Love and Blood*** ([Italian](/source/Italian_language): ***Amore e sangue***) is a 1951 Italian-German [crime](/source/Crime_film) [melodrama film](/source/Melodrama_film) directed by [Marino Girolami](/source/Marino_Girolami) and starring [Maria Montez](/source/Maria_Montez) in one of her last roles.[1] It was also known as *City of Violence*. The film's [art direction](/source/Art_direction) was by [Max Mellin](/source/Max_Mellin) and [Rolf Zehetbauer](/source/Rolf_Zehetbauer).

A separate German-language version *[Shadows Over Naples](/source/Shadows_Over_Naples)* was also made, directed by [Hans Wolff](/source/Hans_Wolff_(director)).[2]
