He performed for [Louis XVIII](/source/Louis_XVIII) at the [Tuileries Palace](/source/Tuileries_Palace) and was made a [Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur](/source/Chevalier_de_la_L%C3%A9gion_d'Honneur) by [Louis-Philippe](/source/Louis-Philippe). Comte owned the [Théâtre Comte](/source/Th%C3%A9%C3%A2tre_Comte) [passage des Panoramas](/source/passage_des_Panoramas) of the [2nd arrondissement of Paris](/source/2nd_arrondissement_of_Paris) and another one in the Passage Choiseul.
