== Biography ==
The son of the regionalist historian Horace Chauvet, Louis Chauvet became a journalist at ''[Temps](/source/Le_Temps_(Paris))'', ''{{ill|Comœdia (journal)|fr|3=Comœdia (journal)|lt=Comœdia}}'', and ''[Le Figaro](/source/Le_Figaro)'' where he mainly worked in the film department.
