In 2003, he joined the youth setup of [IFK Värnamo](/source/IFK_V%C3%A4rnamo), the town's biggest club.[2] ## Club career ### IFK Värnamo In 2009, Sadiku was promoted to Värnamo's first team and made his professional debut in [Ettan](/source/Ettan_Fotboll), Sweden's third tier. He was part of what would be known as a [golden generation](/source/Golden_generation) in the history of the club, together with players like [Viktor Claesson](/source/Viktor_Claesson), [Simon Thern](/source/Simon_Thern), [Niklas Hult](/source/Niklas_Hult) and [Joseph Baffo](/source/Joseph_Baffo). In 2010, Värnamo won a promotion to [Superettan](/source/Superettan).[2][3] In 2011, led by head coach [Jonas Thern](/source/Jonas_Thern), Värnamo finished 13th in the Superettan table.
