**Thierry Moutoussamy** (French pronunciation: [\[tjɛʁi mutusami\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/French), [\[tiʁi\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/French); born 23 December 1972), better known as **Lord Kossity** ([/ˈkɒsɪti/](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/English)), is a French musician. His family is originally from [Martinique](/source/Martinique) but he was born in [Paris](/source/Paris), [France](/source/France) and moved back to the [French West Indies](/source/French_West_Indies) with his family when he was 11 years old.[1] He began his career in the 1990s with the group Contrast, with his cousin, Dr G-Kill. He started incorporating [ragga](/source/Ragga) music with the [zouk](/source/Zouk_(musical_movement)) style later in the 1990s, and has since recorded a number of albums and collaborated with [Suprême N.T.M.](/source/Supr%C3%AAme_NTM), [Vybz Kartel](/source/Vybz_Kartel), [Shaggy](/source/Shaggy_(musician)), [Bounty Killer](/source/Bounty_Killer), Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and [Elephant Man](/source/Elephant_Man_(musician)).
